Man buys a lotto ticket, gets struck by lightning

Your chances of winning the lottery aren’t all that great, but you’re about 50 times more likely to get struck by lightning than win the mega millions.

So, if you did get struck just hours after buying a lotto ticket, wouldn’t you feel like it was the luckiest day of your life?!

That’s what 48-year-old Bill Isles of Wichita, Kan., thought.

He even spouted off the stat to a friend after making his purchase and wouldn’t you know it — later that day, Bill was struck by lightning.

So, he did what any reasonable person would do; he sent a friend out to buy him 10 more tickets!

The lightening didn’t cause any burns or serious damage. Had bill won it probably wouldn’t have been so bad for the guy.

But being struck by lightning and not buying the one winning ticket that came out of Kansas — makes it a pretty crappy deal for Bill!
