Kids save everyone after school bus driver passes out

A kid stopped a tragedy, and it’s all caught on tape.

A bus driver in Milton, Wash., lost consciousness at the wheel, causing a bus full of children to career out of control. But middle-schooler Jeremy Wuitschick saved the day.

“I leap off my chair. I grab the wheel, turn it right. I take the keys out of the ignition and the engine starts shutting off,” he explained.

Wuitschick stopped the bus from plowing into a church, then another kid started CPR on the driver.

“I ran up and tried doing chest compressions,” says Johnny Wood.

Not bad for a generation we accuse of being lazy, fat and glued to video games!

Other kids called 911.

The 43-year old-substitute bus driver is reportedly in really bad shape, but all the middle-schoolers made it out okay.

They probably learned more from that bus than they’ll ever get out of class.
