Don’t use funerals as a chance to rob people

You’ve heard of wedding crashers, but have you ever heard of funeral crashers?

Tyler Austin Chase and Corey James Arendt didn’t exactly crash funerals, but it was pretty close. The duo got the nickname “Funeral Burglars” after they broke into homes of families who were at funerals. Yeah, pretty tasteless; as if the families hadn’t gone through enough.

They used published obituaries to figure out when the families would be gone. Police think the men are behind at least six other burglaries in the area.

Robbing people at a time of loss just makes you an ass, so it’s no surprise these two guys are our Dumbasses of the Day!
