Experience News in a New Way
It’s not Latinos, African-Americans or Asians. No, the fastest growing minority in America is sleepwalkers. Researchers at Stanford University say 8.5 million Americans have sleepwalked in the past year and 30 percent of the population has reported sleepwalking at least once in their lives.
The study also suggests that somnambulism (c’mon ya medical brainiacs, just call it sleepwalking!!) may be connected to depression and the effects of certain medication. Who knows? Doctors say sleepwalking has no serious physical consequences other than raising the chances of causing an accident. In any case, it seems like Americans are going wild at night.
So, now you know: for any misbehavior there’s always the sleepwalking excuse.
