Experience News in a New Way
Here are two recent stories in the news about adults not acting so grown-up with kids.
The first takes place in Kent, Washington where 21 year old Yong Hyun Kim is charged with punching out a 10 year old boy at a movie theater. According to the kid (only known as KJJ on the police report), he and his little buddies were enjoying Titanic 3D in when Mr. Kim told the group, “you know I paid a lot of money to see this movie!” and proceeded to punch KJJ in the face.
Kim explained to investigators that the group was throwing popcorn, making noise and disrupting the film, causing the frustrated moviegoer to hit KJJ. Kim also says he didn’t know the age of the boy.
The second story takes place in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania at a Chuck E. Cheese where 46 year old Patrica Koontz is charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after dumping her salad on a child’s head.
The reasons for that incident are unknown.
