One in five Americans sext

Ever feel a little frisky and want to show off your fabulous body? So you snap a racy photo with your phone and send it to a lucky person.

It’s called sexting, and more people than you’d imagine are doing it.

Lookout Mobile Security found that one in five Americans who have smartphones say they have used it for sexting.

For those of you who don’t do it, it’s sending nude photos or explicit text messages.

Lookout polled 2,097 adults. The biggest offenders were 18 to 34-year-old men and 35 to 44-year-old women.

It’s not just younger people that are sexting. It’s likely your parents are doing it too.

The survey found that 30 percent of moms and dads with children under age 18 say they’ve sent or received explicit pictures on their smartphones.

Alo, one out of 10 adults ages 55 and over admit to sending or receiving racy photos.

Look if you’re going to do it that’s fine, but at least put a lock on your phone so those scandalous pics don’t get into the wrong hands.  Plus, just think how embarrassing it would be if your sexts were exposed!
