Toddler survives being thrown from SUV during police chase

Call it a miracle.

An 18-month-old girl walked away unharmed from a horrific accident in Lubbock, Texas — and it was all caught on video.

Lubbock Police were chasing after the baby’s teenage father, Kenny Shawn Jimenez, who had just robbed a woman at gunpoint.

The police cruiser dash cam video shows the SUV swerving wildly out of control and then flipping into a barrel roll.

The impact caused the toddler to fly out of the vehicle, landing on the pavement virtually unharmed.

The baby then stands up and chases after the SUV, and a young girl scoops up the child then runs away.

Police say four teens under the age of 17 were in the SUV. All were eventually caught and arrested.

Jimenez was charged with aggravated robbery and injury to a child.

The other teens were not identified because they are minors.

The toddler suffered a few scratches and was treated at a nearby hospital.

The SUV, most admired vehicles by soccer moms!

You see this in Texas and podunkerville. They think these things are safer because they are larger. Not very good in high speed chases nor strong winds, but that never stops them.

The only reason I like them is because people are less likely to park in the back seat…sorta an open road respect thing…kinda like what bikers adhere to.
