Experience News in a New Way
For you former high school seniors, graduation has come and gone and now you’re out trying to stay cool in Houston’s summer heat. But one senior in Stark County, Ohio had something to really sweat about–not graduating because of his goatee.
His goatee had officials at East Canton High School throwing a hissy fit. Just before Ricky Davis was able to walk on stage to get his diploma, administrators handed him a razor and shaving cream and told him to lose the goatee. Davis was confused and rightfully so.
“I had it back when they had the old school, I always had a goatee, and nothing was ever said about that. There were no problems, I always kept it neat,” David said.
The good news, Davis was able to graduate and is getting ready to head to the University of Northwestern Ohio. The bad news, his chin is just a little bit colder now.
