Experience News in a New Way
Senior pranks are usually conceived and executed for the sake of tradition and shock value. Students in their last couple of weeks in high school might cover the halls with post-it notes or arrange all the school`s furniture in the gym.
Seniors at Roosevelt High School, in Seattle, met the two requirements above and managed to create something useful.
They dumped a bunch of sand into the school’s courtyard, set up beach chairs, a grill and volleyball net. They even squeezed in a 16-foot diameter inflatable pool, effectively bringing the beach to the middle of their school.
The students are calling it the 2012 RHS Beach Party and they really delivered fun in the sun to the middle of their rain city school.
The seniors did not say if they would be cleaning up the mess after their party or if that chore would fall to the juniors.
